Replacing outer door skin

Looking for info on separating and replacing the outer door skin and a source for a new skin. I do not want to replace the entire door and loose the vin/info stickers on the door end. If anyone has done this I would appreciate your input.

Hi All,
Still looking for someone who might have split a door skin who mght be able to give me some pointers or advice before I start. I am planning to get a donor door to test the removal methods, I would like to find a supplier for a new skin if available. Any help would be appreciated.

FYI,
There is a very good book that deals with the repair/replacement of parts for C4 Vettes. I have a copy just not in front of me. It covers what you want to do. I have used it for working my '93s.
GLAS-R volume 6 is the one that has the information on how to replace a door skin.
