Requesting help with opening driver door

I'm requesting help with my 2006 vette. The battery is currently dead and I'm unable to open the driver's side door. Once I pull the latch in the trunk, the driver's side door pops open slightly, but it will not completely unlatch. What else can I do to get the door open? Help!

Have you asked someone to help pull the door open while you pull the latch in the trunk?

Working on that! Sometimes, being single makes things a bit difficult as the dog is no help!

Without battery power, the door window will not 'index' down to clear the weather stripping. So, just pulling the release in the trunk my not pop the door open enough to clear the weather stripping without a little help. Then the second latch locks the door ajar.
