Restored Blue Devil revealed on anniversary of sinkhole opening

Exactly one year after it fell into a sinkhole that collapsed beneath the Skydome of the National Corvette Museum, a restored 2009 ZR1 Blue Devil was revealed to a crowd at the museum today.
The shining and unblemished blue Corvette stood in stark contrast to the remains of five other Corvettes that surrounded it, which were caked with red dirt, twisted, smashed and in some cases barely resembled vehicles.
Katie Frassinelli, marketing and communications manager for the museum, said good has come in the wake of the sinkhole collapse.
