I had frequented CAC back in 2001 - 2004. I guess I had been away long enough where my membership fell off.

I have a '78 Vette that I had been working a frame off resto-rod build, but I lost my job in 2004 so my car projects were put on hold. I actually have 3 car projects, the Corvette, a '53 Chevy Wagon and a '73 VW Super Beetle. I have been working the last few years for Boeing at NASA Houston, but since my kids are now in college, most money I would have spent on car projects goes towards their education. Recently, I just got the Bug back on the street, but it still needs a lot of work. The Vette body is almost ready to be dropped back on the frame. I just have to coat the frame and install the fuel and brake lines. I have the brake lines, and am in the process of shopping for 1/2 inch stainless steel fuel lines. Going with 1/2 inch to keep my future horse power options open.

If interested, check out my project's website: Big Dog Garage

Good to be back!

Welcome back glad you've decided to join us again, I did look at your web site, pretty cool and enjoyed it. Get that Vette done and back on the road. Too many projects for me at one time I am lucky to keep one going. I just recently retired and trying hard to get into a routine, finding it pretty difficult to do right now but eventually get there, after working all your life it's definently differant but :cool!:
