Rochester Q-Jet Tuning

Anyone have a suggestion on adjusting air/fuel mixture to resolve a grey/black smoke problem on a newly installed Q-jet on my '73. Any chance it could be a choke problem as well? It has a divorced choke.

There are quite a few articles listed on Q-Jet tuning. I used excerpts from them when working on mine recently. There is also a good book out on Q-Jet rebuilding and modification you might look for on Amazon. Good luck.
