Rod recomendation

Hello,

In near future I was thinking about turning up the boost in engine
and also using stealth ram intake. I was thinking about using
http://www.catpep.com/catproducts/connectingrod/
4340IBeammasterracingrod.asp "billet" rods. I know that they are
made in China but surely they would be better than orginal
pink rods? Is there any negative thing using these besides
forged rods etc. from Oliver?

Hello,

I see your in Europe as wel. The only thing i'd like to say is be sure the chinees 4340 has the same quality spec's as the american!
Overhere in Holland chinees steel hasn't got that good a repuration in general.

The Stealth Ram will not fit under a stock corvette hood.Also Contact Callaway and they can give you an idea of a good replacements

Yes, I know that orginal stealth ram will not fit, but
modified will. I have read that Callaway replaces the orginal rods
with carillo ones, they are good but very expensive althrough.
Looking for more reasonable rods than they are.

Ok, Have searched different forums, seems like the brand "cat"
is not good at all. What about lunati pro mod rods?
