I was looking into what safety equipment I need to take my car out to the drag strip. I see that I need to add a Roll bar. I've looked online, but haven’t see anything for a C5 Convertible. Where do I start? My car is a daily driver, so are there units that can be installed and still have the top operational?
Thanks
Tom

I've been wondering the same thing Tom. I think it would be the hoop type like 69myway. But I have concerns about it sitting between the roof hatch and the drivers seat. I'm 6'1" and keep the seat all the way back against the hatch. Don't know if I'd like the forward setting on the seat.
Perhaps the hatch could be notched out to fit over the rollbar thus keeping the legroom intack.
Hope to hear from other roadster owners out there with rollbars

Most likely, any type of legal roll bar is going to require you to modify the deck cover on a convertible. ;)

Here's a picture of one of REBS Specialties rollbars installed in a C5 convertible. There is also a page of pictures of Gary's (gfbrown) C5 coupe installation. ;)
