i was wondering if anyone has built or found a wall mounted roof rack for thier c4 roof.. i have both and the darn thing is just begging to get screwed up laying around the garage floor

To answer your first question..No none I've seen made by anyone for the targa units. I have been considering it myself. Right now the spare roof is overhanging a storage cabinet and it just looks lousy!

I came up with a few options that might work depending on space/need.
This looks pretty simple and should hold the roof. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=116127-362-9355800&lpage=none

I also thought of this http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=267938-46880-FTH3P-8RO&lpage=none with the rubbermaid track system....but
I'm also running out of wall space.

I thought of a hanging lift like for a Mercedes SL top but its just too expensive. Its probably possible to rig one up from a bicycle lift .....but I wouldnt trust it unless well engineered.

I am now considering one of those hanging ceiling suspension units they sell at Lowes. (I suppose one could also make one from water/gas are adjustable.http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=267974-46880-OH2-4RO&lpage=none

They also have this...looks good and if needed can be usurped for parts storage http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=51955-47338-625&lpage=none

Perfect? probably not. But my guess is that if a perfect one was made it would be too expensive :ugh

those are some good ideas, definetly something to go on, and like you said, anything actually made for it is gonna be expensive
