Hi everyone how do i get my front rotors off my 93? I tryed banging them with 5lb sledge but nothing just loose wheel bearings help

Dang, how rusted are they onto the hubs??? A little heat action might help, but be careful. Lots of good penetrating oil, like PB Blaster.

As 93rubie states soak them good. They should just fall off once the caliper is off. If your bearings are loose you should replace them while your at it . You should have very little play at the bearings.

I'd advise not beating on the rotor with a 5-lb sludge. Best bet is to use a good penetrant, such as Aerokroil or Silikroil. Spray it where the wheel studs come through the rotor and where the rotor indexes on the hub.

Let is soak for 12-hrs then use a rubber or plastic dead-blow hammer to smack the rotor a couple of times.

If that doesn't loosen it, try some heat with a propane torch.

FYI, for future reference, I always on my own cars, coat the back of the rotor where it contacts the hub surface with anti-seize, be careful not to get any on the rotor surface, brake pads, wheel studs, or any other place you do want things to stick together.

They come off much easier down the road, and you don't need tons of the stuff just a light coating.

I have seen people use anti-seize on wheel studs!!! WTF, I want them to stay the heck on dang it!!!
