Here is the "one million dollar question" folks...
Catalytic convertors of my 95 Coupe were gutted (emptied) by the previous owner. I have had the car for almost a year now and in the last few months I have been having some rough idle at normal engine operating temperatures. I never had a cold idle problem at all.
The rough idle is an intermittent problem (i.e. it does not happen every time I drive the car) and manifests it self as rough engine running (as if it will stop any second), hood trembling and fuel odor inside the car...
My question is if the gutted convertors may be the cause of such a problem.
Hope to get an answer soon from "Vette Brothers"
