I have a 2007 z51 coupe that came with run flats. Do i need to change rims for non runflats

I am seriously shopping tires for my 08 c6 and I am leaning towards nitto Invos which have been priced at 930 dollars installed and balanced..

Stock wheels for sure...using the stock sensors..

Toyo proxi's T1R is a good choice too..(similiar price)

Michelin pilot PS2's are excellent if not a bit expensive..

I swapped out my runflats on my 1999 c5 to non runflats on stock rims and it was an amazing transition..

Good luck deciding.

No wheel change needed if you stay with the same tire sizes, runflats and non runflats can use the same wheels.

Just remember ...

IF you do get flat you'll most likely ruin the air pressure sensor!

Additionally, if you do get a flat and use one of the tire sealer/inflator (flat fix in a can), you will most likely ruin the pressure sensor.
