It seems to be the following..... about 10-25% based on engine output...and if she's burning oil...it's WORSE!

The research came from when I was moonlighting at a wrecking yard ( doing electronics ) and would have rich running cars throwing codes.. the owner would pull 02's outta wrecks and put em in clients cars ( which the client knew about ) and we would keep chasin our tails...untill we would put a shinny new one on.... and the Standard ( universal ) O2's would not be calibrated the same as the GM ones... according to my tech2.

So I have been replacing them every tune up 2x now in the 88... and she's running good.

Luckily the O2 sensor for the Vette is relatively inexpensive.

That's what the CAC is all about!

No one person has ALL the answers.

So by sharing we make sure we do the most effective repair / maint / upgrades possible.

And to make sure we are not getting handed a shovel of BS when we DO have to take our
beloved cars in for service..and put them in someone else hands!
