Rust-o-movich!

UPDATE:

I tried Naval Jelly, and I got some of the corrosion removed, but in some areas looks like is going to be about 5 - 6 bottles of the stuff. I have been "begging" my engine builder to make an exception on my case a blast the "Y" pipe for me (it would cost him money to get me in-line).

Money talks, Bro... I find it somewhat interesting that when a little green is actually put forth before someone's eyes that they can have a sudden change in attitude... :D

Ok gang,

I kept experimenting, and it seems that what works best when blasting is not possible or available, is the use of Naval Jelly for softening of the corrosion, and then use coarse wire cup brushes (3 Inches on a drill motor) to remove the residual.

Still blasting would have been faster and more thorough in accessing hard to reach areas, but given my situation, it resolved the problem.
