Help! Rusted gas lines

I have rusted gas lines on my '93 Corvette. I have removed the tank and the lines running from just before the tank are OK but from that point to the fuel sending unit are bad. My question is what is the best way to repair this. Should I replace the whole line or could I splice in a new line. Another problem is the the last 8 inches going to the sending unit are rubber and they are fused to the steel lines. How do I join the rubber with the steel properly?

high pressure gasoline and a prized toy I would check with a parts vendor ecklers mid america inline tube or classic tube and just order new possibly in stainless steel and have a job done right once
