SACC Convention Trip

Next week - July 13 - 16, 2010 will be the Solid Axle Corvette Club (SACC) National Convention at Bowling Green Kentucky.

I have the 1959 Corvette loaded in the trailer and ready to go. I hope to see many Corvette owners while I am there.

Sorry you can't make it this year Tom. Silver Blue 58 - Fred and I made it to Knoxville this evening. We had slow going pulling the trailers with the Corvettes in them. There was very heavy rain for a while from Hickory to west of Asheville NC.

What we did get to see were many, many Corvettes in groups and on trailers going east probably going to Charlotte to the big NCRS meet.
Guess you can't be two places at once.

We hope to get to Bowling Green tomorrow afternoon and let the fun begin. I brought two cameras to take lots of photos.

The SACC Convention was great. We met a lot of nice people and learned some great information.

The red Corvette was hit years ago when his Dad owned the car. Great to see her being put back together.
The Silver 58 is local to the Bowling Green area.

Sebring Bill.....it was nice to have met you. Always good to put a face with a name. Hope you made it home safely. We will probably see you in Kissimmmee in Jan.-Feb.
