75 roadster

Guest
I am redoing a 1975 interior that says it is custom saddle on the original window sticker. I ordered and received the door panels and seat covers in medium saddle that were produced by Corvette America. When they arrived they weren't close to the original color. Does the custom saddle mean something other than leather saddle such as a different color, or do the reproduction door panels not have the right color. Any information would help. Thanks.

What is the interior code on the trim tag? (metal plate on the drivers door jam that list the paint code and trim code.) '75 had Saddle (code 14 and 142), Med Saddle (code 65 and 652), and Neutral (code 60).

True, reproduction parts may not be exactly the same color, mine wasn't. Close but no cigars. The biggest thing is on older car the original color fades, so even if you got an exact original match, it still would not look the same due to time, heat, etc.
