As I was surfing today, I found this:

I like it as a crate engine. Of course, I'll still have to change/add some things, but the ballpark $ figure is about the same as the ZZ4 (with some "tweaks") from GM Performance, and more horsepower/torque to boot! :D

Has anybody dealt with Sallee Chevrolet?
 
Sallee has all kinds of good stuff!
Even new take-off parts at good prices.
Someday they will have something I need.
 
I have never purchased from them.
My friends have and they have nothing but good to say about them.
 
Moffitt, thanks, but I'm actually interested in feedback about the ZZ450.

one quick comment...your 1987 will not pass smog with a Holly....it is illegal to modify the induction system
