Sanding concrete?

Anyone sand concrete?
I poured my own slab... and had friends help.
I have a couple of small floater ridges.... I want to sand down.

What does something like that cost?

A friend of mine sanded his whole driveway due to a high dollar coating peeling off . They rented a machine that looked like a large floor buffer but it had a grinding wheel instead of a pad . His drive is about 40 feet long and double wide . It took him and his son all day and about killed them both . How bad are those ridges ? Cliff

When I had my garage floor poured, the concrete guy used an angle grinder to grind off a few leftover ridges. Worked fine.

If it is a very small area you can get a concrete sanding stone that has a handle on it. But you will work yourself to death.

If you have several large areas then consider renting a concrete sander or look in the yellow pages under "Concrete Finishing" and hire someone to come fix it.

This will make a lot of dust so park the vette far away and cover everything else with plastic.

The ridges are very minor. About 12" long and 1/8" max height (more like 1/16")
There are about 6... the Pad is 30' x 24' ... so not bad for amateurs
Angle grinder eh!... Now that is interesting.

I am planning on putting some type of floor covering on at some point.
