Autotap scans codes, but doesn't tune.

Lt1edit (carputing edits, but doesn't put codes)

There's nothing that does both?

I actually run win ALDL on my lap top at the same time I am running C.A.T.S. tunining software with a romulator. I can read the info and tune at the same time. I doubt you will find 1 program that does both. If you do make sure to post it. I would recomend you find a helper to drive or run the laptop it is a very busy job. You also need some back ground in tuning there isnt anybody out there giving up alot of info. I do mostly chips for cars with many mods nobody will pay for the amount of time you spend on this kind of tunning for stock type cars. Most stock stuff I just make a chip that only changes minor things. If you go really indepth you could spend months making the perfect chip.

I don't think I can use winALDL because I am OBDII.

For tuning, I basically wanted the basics as well, fan adjustment, idle speed for a new cam, maybe lean it out abit as I seem to be running richer with the cam (not sure yet). thanks.

Check this out, it's called the autoprom and does everything. www.moates.net
