Screened inset below running lights

I have a 1999 coupe and last week had a dump truck drop some dirt clods in front of me as I rode behind him. One clod lodged in the 'screened' area just below the front passenger running light. From what I can see/feel, the screen is set into a rubber ring that fits into an oblong slot. I have searched for the past hour thru various suppliers and can't figure out what the name of this part is(images are blocked here at work so I can't see the part itself and descriptions are sketchy)..Anyone know what this part is or # so I can replace it? Only had the car a couple months and haven't gotten an FSM yet.
