seat removal

need to remove driver seat from 90 z to repair leather-how difficult a process is this? any tips for doing this? thanks for help in advance
 
If the 90 is like the early seats...look under the front of the seat, you will see a wire...push it towards the back of the car and lift the seat bottom out. For the back of the seat (see pic below) their is a clasp and hook system. What I used to dismount the back was slip a carpenters "Catspaw" under the cusion and push the clasp towards the center...it should unhook. Do two on one side and it should lift right out.

the sport seats wear in the same spots-i guess i need to take all of it out- i'll use your info and give it a shot thanks for the help

You can try to swap the seat cusions each season to help even out the wear and get more out of the seats ?
 
thanks everyone for the advice-removed seat this weekend now in shop to re cover paul
