I was replacing the vacuum hoses on my 3x2 setup and notice that if I blow or suck on the secondaries connection that I can easily move air through the carb. Is this correct? Should I be able to suck or blow air and hear it (inside the venturi I think?)

Anthony,

Yes. No.
You should hear air passing through on the source end as that's where the vacuum comes from. You should not hear air on the secondary vacuum diaphram side. That would indicate a bad diaphram. You should be able to compress the diaphram (secondaries in the open position) and put your finger over the hose tube. As long as you keep your finger there the secondaries should remain open. They will close when you remove your finger and allow air to enter.

Ok, so I'm pretty sure that the diaphrams are bad b/c when I blow on the source end, there is no resistance...the air goes right through to the interior of the secondary.
