Secureing stowed roof panel

With my roof panel stowed in the back of my C-4 I could lock the doors and center console , which blocked the hatch switchs , and even though someone could reach in and unlock the door manually , the alarm would go off . How can I secure the top on my C-5 . The hatch switch is on the dash and works without the key . Any ideas guys ?

I think after a while the hatch switch won't work. It has a delay feature that automatically shuts it off after a while after the door is closed. At least that is how it is on a Camaro. I have not checked on the Vette. You bring up a good point.

Thanks Danl72 You are absolutely right ! I went out and reached in and it opened , so I locked it with the fob and came back a few minutes later and the switch was deactivated . I'm very pleased to know this . Thanks again .
