Security Light

My Vette is a 91 and I have a problem with my security light staying on all the time. I never flashes or go out no matter what I have tried. Any help?

Are you refering to the indicator light in the dashboard display, or another security light, such as the security alarm feature that allows one to turn on the lights and alarm remotely? :confused

I'm referring to the indicator light in the dashboard display left side below the oil change light.

If it was lit while you are driving the car, that would indicate that something in the amiss with the door or the hatch (either coupe or convertible) switches. If it had anything to do with the VATS or Theft Deterent system, you would most likely not be able to even start the car.

Thanks Ken; I have checked most of the system and just relizied that I have not checked the switch at the rear hatch.
