security reset by key?

I have a 92 coupe. My girlfriend ran it out of fuel, "Gas was cheaper at the next exit." When I switch the car on, the fuel pump can be heard cycling and then stops, so i think the pump may still be alive. Now the "security" light is on. I dont have an owner's manual and for the life of me don't know the key-turn procedure to disarm. I hoping someone will post the sequence. Thanks in adavance.
