I have an 03/C5 with that new fangled Selective Ride. Which is very cool by the way. Can it be lowered?

Doh - I just read your post after submitting the very same question.... I even have the same color C5 as you.

Hey guys,

I just purchased an F55 equipped Coupe and I lowered it yeterday. I also installed a set of Z06 sway bars (which really help in the handling!).

I have read that they do not suggest that you lower the F55 suspension but I was never one to do as I am told ;)

On my Vette the front lowering bolts were almost bottomed out from factory so to lower the car I had to remove the bolts and trim the rubber bumper on the end to give myself some more adjustment travel. The car is as low it will go in the front and it is just about right.

I had a 2002 Z51 equipped coupe and when I lowered the front of it I didnt' trim the rubber bumper but I did go to full bottom on the adjustment bolts. The Z51 Vette went quite a bit lower in the front than my F55 Vette.

The transducer (which sends information to the computer from each wheel) still has full travel since the car would not lower to far anyway. So I do not see any potential problems from lowering it. The ride is still just as nice in "Tour" mode and it handles great!

Hope this helps :) good luck.
