parts REPLY

Hey Guys.....looks like some of you are getting a little pised waiting on no replies......

Well, if your needing some parts, I have a 70 BB w/black interior that im rebuilding and have taken it down to the bare frame so far.
Im getting a whole new suspension and breaking system, so I will be have most of those parts for sale here soon.
There are other parts im selling too but I have not gotten that far to get them off the car yet, my main concentration has been the frame and suspension, so if you are in need for parts other than that let me know if you do need something other than suspension or frame related parts like lines, gas tank, etc.
I will be cleaning all the parts off and make them back to almost new condition with paint and rust protectant and all and free of any minor rust build up, im very thorough and like to take time to make a part look good, just as if it were going back on my car, so ill sand blast and wire wheel it clean and looking better than before.

I do have to say, if you would bare with me on shipping, cause I am in the military and gone allot, but I am home from time to time, and I work on my vette when I can. Just the schedule that doesn't work for me.
You can defiantly get ahold of me at vette7072@yahoo.com or my work address der@carney.navy.mil anytime, I check this forum from time to time but the satellite connection isn't that great, so its hard to get on line out at sea, but I can at times. email is the best way to get ahold of me though.

I also have a brand new still in the box Energy Suspension Polly Urethane complete body bushing kit for a 70, but it will work on a 68-78 from front to rear. Was going to re-bush all my suspension and chassis parts I am now selling, but since im going with a whole complete system I don't need them.

if you have anything you want to add or are looking for just ask, im doing the whole car 100% rebuild so allot is open to sale, (like seats and door panels) and I may need stuff and can work something out too. All the parts are original, and in really surprising good shape for a 30+ year old car. the only part that is trashed beyond salvage is that center arm rest console thing, but then again that's common.

thanks for the time guys......

I don't need anything from that year car, but I do want to say thanks for serving our country and for being one of the world class people that keeps us safe. I simply cannot put into words how I feel about our service men and women. Godspeed, and get home safely...

Big Tex,
really appreciate all the support, and I cant say that there isn't a better job in the world that id rather be doing......well working on my vette, but that's all in fun. thanks again.......

hey guys what going on......

Steve....
it is a automatic, but for a 70, but im sure it will still work.
Im not sure of that particular cable cause it is probably still on my body with the steering column, all i have been messing with is the chassis and suspension, but if you could give me a bit more info on what to look for ill look at it and get back to you. I will be back home Friday, cause were out to sea right now, so ill get back to you if I hear back from you by then.

Jeff....
yes BB is the only way I will go.....454 actually.....
what parts exactly. I have not messed with the engine other than pulling it out completely, but ill see what I got and can part with.
where in NY are you , i was just in NYC for fleet week and left today....

I am parting out a few corvettes. I am trying to clean out my storage area to make room. The corvettes I have to part out are:
68 coupe
73 convertible
82 coupe
87 coupe
95 coupe

If you need parts from any of these please email me for prices and availability. I also have a few misc. parts laying around that I might be willing to sell. For fastest response please email me otherwise it might take a few days to respond to posts on the forum.

These are not complete cars so I might not have all the parts from these cars.
Looking for coil springs for a 73 convertible. Carl

Trans lock cable

Hay All,

I did get the cable and it is install. Thanks for all your support.:beer

Insta98, do you have the rear bottom valance for a 68 vert, also the front crossmember and front bumper w/ brackets. thanks jjoyal68:pat

opto1998:
sorry on the vent control assy, but im using mine in my restoration

jjoyal68:
im not sure if I have the rear bottom valance, but do you have a bit more detail as to what it looks like so I can check,
as for the front bumper with brackets I need one also, so if you come across an extra one let me know....and as for the front cross member I need that part for my restore, so I cant part with that....

but either way let me know if there is anything else you might need???

Dave

rear valance

Dave, sorry I'm late on my reply, the rear valance is the body section where the exhaust pipes exit and the backup lights are, I could be wrong about it being called that, as I am new to this hobby or sport. Thanks JJoyal:pat :CAC

JJoyla,

now i know what your talking about. Like you, im new to this too, but im learning as i go. I had to cut mine to get the body off the frame, but i need it to put my rear body back together....sorry.

rear valance

Dave, no problem I'll find one, thanks any way and good luck on you' re project. Thanks JJoyal
