Hello,
Okay, if the water temp sensor is located on the left side (driver's) head, what is the sensor on the right side head with the two wires?

Oh and anyone want any old engine parts? Have my L81 engine completely apart, doing a rebuild. Getting new everything except crank (maybe).

Thanks,

yep, its the fan. It controls when the auxillary fan kicks in. Its set horribly high. By the time it kicks on, your motor will be smoking or close too it.

anyone know where you can get a replacement switch? I tried the local parts stores to no avail. I want it to turn the fan on around 200 or so.

Mid-America has what your looking for. Ask for part# 601-972. Turns the fan on at 200 and cools her down to 185.

thanks. I'm off to check them out. I dislike having the fans run all the time. I ended bypassing the the switch when i installed my flex-a-lite set up.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread.:w
