My low tire pressure and service ltpws lights came on today on my 1989 conv. What is involved in fixing this other than checking the tire pressure? Thanks.

Each wheel has a sensor strapped to the rim inside. I belive ther is a way to put LTPWS through self diagnois wher it will indicate which sensor is malfuntioning.
First, start off with checking tire pressure at all four wheels. If the system light stays on, go through self disgnosis.
I'm sure some one will chime in about which wires to ground at the diagnostic terminal and code interpretation.

Good luck!

Deflate 1 tire to below 25lbs and take a short drive, keep doing that until you find the sensor that isn't setting the Low tire pressure light and that is the one not working.

Scott fabre issued a repair on it, look in the ZR-1 fixes section.
