Setting The Clock

I own a 1984 with the original stereo and I can not for the life of me figure out how to set the clock? The guy who sold it to me didnt leave the manual can anyone help?

Hi there,
Turn the radio off, and then push the set button.
Once you do this, use the seek and the scan buttons to set the clock.

As a matter of fact, replacement manuals can be found at Ecklers. I dont recall the price off hand, but I dont think they are too much for an '84.

Trick Here!

On my 84 you had to pull the switch OUT towards you to set it. Scan was for Hour, Seek was for minute.

It took me a while to figure this one out.

Not QUITE.......that radio wasnt available until a later model year......it sets by pulling the Scan or seek button...much like how u set the station on a vintage radio (and your too)...pretty cool huh? No ugly extra button needed
