Any one by chance happen to know what the part number is for the shift linkage cable on an 84? Thanks...

Which transmission code ? it seems to make a differance in my parts book. Looks like there is choice of 4 cables.

# 14038660 is discontinued
# 14093175 is discontinued
#12551274 is still a good number
#10219967 is a good number

Gm option code on the service parts ID say it's a MD8 4sp auto 700 R4 ...never been under to look at the tran..Yet at least...still trying to figuar how to jack it up with out having the original jack...heard tell if your not careful...lots of damage can happen...thanks
