Man, I am thrilled at finding a (local, no less) Shinoda (Mears) body kit for my old screamer. The rear bumper cover needed redo, as do some other areas My initial search for the Shinoda rear bumper only, yielded more.

My car is the original white with Carmine Red leather. The only photos I have seen of the Shinoda-bodied white cars, suck. I really like the dark colors, especially maroon and gray on the photos I have seen. I only guarantee that any new color will not be black or a 'normal' red.

From a collector'$ viewpoint, what color is most valuable? :w

Hi Mr. 747 Pilot (and neighbor). You'll be happier if you choose your favorite color. Who will care what the "most valuable" color is? Your car will be distinctively different anyway!

Thanks for the thoughts. Is this you? http://www.sachotrod.com/

I'm amazed that all these Vette guys have no comment; only 4 responders to the poll. No surprise that red leads, I guess. With the '84's value near rock bottom, despite the kick-butt power I in$talled, I kinda care about the value of the car; hence the question. Perhaps too few are aware of the Shinoda panels; dunno.

I am curbing my zeal to do this mod by working to finish my '55 F100 that sits on a Corvette suspension and powertrain, so I thought I'd check the market in the meantime. See, I know how to make a Ford fast and fun!

Next question is, do I :w or not from the Effie? :thumb
