Mark...the car is a 2004 Lemans Blue convertible and resides in Plano, Texas. The owner has several late model Corvettes and is waiting to take delivery on a 2011 Z06.

I believe it was said, years ago, that the chroming process took some of the strength out of the steel. Is that correct, or have they changed the process? If it is a show car probably doesn't matter.
