Check with the Corvette Connection at Pawnee and West st. I know that he has a set of chrome or jet hot coated Hookers.

Are you looking for the whole HOOKER sidepipe setup?
I can get them for you.

You want the sidepipes PN 2224.
That is the black steel set.

If you are interested I can shoot you a quote.
I get them through HOOKER.

You might also want to try SUMMIT.
I hate to advertise for the competition but sometimes they beat my prices.

Let me know

JASON *** BRAND NEW MAGNECOR WIRES FOR SALE!!! *** 1979 L-82

definately, waiting on some people in town but i want to go now!!! lol im looking for either the black header/pipe/muffler combo........ or maybe chrome.... i like black more...... let me know what you can sell the black set for... (reverse flow mufflers)

i just found the site and they look good. id kinda rather have the "4 into 1" look of the hookers... but those definately look like the would be better for performance......... still wold like the hookers however.... thanks for the info

"were sorry, youve reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service" ?

I had side pipes on my 75 for years. & believe me you and your riders will burn your legs !!! Was glad to go back to the stock pipes. When I had them I got the replacement pipes at ecklers. If they still sell them you would have to say your car was made before 75 thats when they started the cat. converters.

a couple of burns is worth the "oooo's and ahhhhs" to me :D
still looking for the hooker style though.... the stock style for the early c3's/c2's doesnt look as good for the 80-82 bodies...... scott81 got me into the hooker look on that body =))))) thanks scott :Steer

Eckler's sells the complete Hooker setup.

ya i just ended up buying from summit $738 grand total with shipping for the headers, pipes, mufflers, and shipping....... new so im happy.........

I now have four fairly major burns on my body from the hooker pipes. Two on my left leg, and two on my right arm. Don't even ask me how I got this one.

I had to see the doctor for an unrelated problem last week, and I thought I was going to get the 20 questions about this nasty burn.

"Honest, I swear....I fell down and landed on the sidepipe......I swear Doctor, don't turn my car over to HRS....it is not the cars fault...I love my car"....hehehhe

well ive already gotten a burn from the open headers on a first motor test, lol...... and ive also got one on my thigh from my four-wheeler..... and not not mention i had a wreck @ 65mph sat night that put it outta commision, glad the gov't refund was enough to pay for the sidepipes, repairs to the quad, and the loritabs =))))

burns are ok tho........ gives ya character....... wear em with pride chris =)))

side pipes

how about passing those part numbers on to another vette owner who wants some black sidepipes? The 700 dollar price range is much better than twice that much for chrome.l

hope this info helps.... an email i sent to a fellow cac member

Theyre real nice, the reverse flow muffler inserts are nice, the only thing youd wanna do that I didn’t, is to repaint them in hi temp paint..... the paint burned off real quick to the collector, the side pipes themselves are alright, not too bad about the burn off.......

The parts numbers are here with prices.......

HOK-21002 reverse flow mufflers 168.99
HOK-2224 headers 389.95
HOK-50735 pipes 209.69

Total of 768.63
Shipping was only 5 bucks more than usual for oversize.
Well worth it, the only problem ive had was in the hooker boxes mine didn’t get the "t bolts" used to mount the pipes to the side of the car. I had no clearance problems with the ground or the body. It all just fit. If yours is emission controlled, don’t plan on moving out of state because you wont pass an inspection unless you tap into each runner with your smog pump. I just don’t care bout that =)

If your car is computer controlled, youll need a o2 sensor bung as well to put your o2 sensor in, don’t forget it,
Part number SUM-G2990 fro around 10 bucks...... with mine I welded it in one of the collectors at the base of the header.

and now that i have these, i dont need the original hookers i bought a few months ago with 45 min of test time on them...... just enough to burn off all that paint........ anyone need some hooker comp headers? new 159.95, lets say........ 100?

How did you end up mounting the sidepipes to the body without the hardware?
