sill plates

just a quik question, will the wide door sill plates from say a 69-76 vette fit on my 82 to get rid of the skinny strips of metal that ours has

A quick answer..........Yes.........My 80 had them, and they do look allot better, I think. Not to mention they save a little more of the top carpet...........Steve
