I need the assistance of a Corvette tech specialist.;help We have recently replaced all pads and machined rotors on a 1995 C4. When the brakes are applied at low speed, you hear a siren type sound coming from the rear. We have determined it is in the brakes due to testing the vehicle in neutral with the engine off and the sound still occurs when brakes are applied. The noise is not there if the vehicle is in the air, but once the weight of the vehicle is returned to ground the sound occurs. I know that some threads have indicated replacing the rotors and the pads. This vehicle has had rotors turned in the past with no issues. This one has us all stumped.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
