I took my '87 to the Skyline show on a whim. The car was still in "Bloomington" condition so I took it to the show. No surprise, it was the only Callaway there and I had a great time talking with lots of people. Most everyone I talked to had never seen one in person. It was great fun to talk with other Vette enthusiasts about these cars.
At the end of the day, I received a great surprise that I was judged to be #2 in the C4 class! There were 20+ cars in the class and 1st place was a Greenwood bodied car with lots of shiny motor compartment stuff. 2nd place was good for a 24" tall trophy and a handshake :L from the Hooter's girl handing out the trophies.

You've got an awesome looking car!!
Probably is great to get it on the road after tying it up for Bloomington!
Nice looking car!
!.
She's a smart cookie too. I gave her a quick lesson on "Callaway Facts" and she talked the lingo with more than a few passer-bys. I'd like to think that the car won on it's own merits, however, I think she had something to do with it too.
