Looking at the back picnic table, I think there is about 8-10" out there :eek

Gearing up to go and do the driveway, I am worried about how much snow I will find - looks like it will be truck weather for awhile :ugh

Anyone else get hammered by the storm last night??

It is the first "real snow" we have had in almost a decade :cool

Stuck in Atlanta

I'm sure that my flight this afternoon will be delayed if not for a couple of hours then until tomorrow.

I heard Newark is still open but who knows. My house has 16" according to my next door neighbor.

Such is life.

Alan

I guess we were kind of lucky only 6 inches in Mt.Holly Springs, Pa.

My house in Central New Jersey by the coast has 14" not counting the drifts.

But l am stuck down here in Atlanta.

I don't know how the calculate a roof in the states. But here in Holland they take a fixed amount for snow. I know if we here in Holland get like 20" of snow allot of roof will fail because of the load an the very little room for error in the construction! So maybe it is a good idea to look at it before your under it. Not that i want to frighten you but better save then sorry..

Here in Holland we have 0 to 1/8" ;)

Groeten Peter.

Sounds like you get wet snow, which is naturally heavy. I don't know what snow is like in the eastern USA but here in the midwest it is usually light, not much moisture in it. We only had about an inch in the last few days.:D

:w

The snow fell light and fluffy however, as the morning sun came out, it became very, VERY heavy :eek

I bet that more than a few roofs will collapse - those not up to code :eek

Taking the truck out for a drive, plenty of trees down (from the weight) as well...

Still, the snow looks pretty :cool

I have over a foot already and it is suppose to snow till 10pm. The snow is light and fluffy as it is 22 degrees outside

Snow? It's a chilly 56 degrees here! :: rubs hands together and blows :: :)

Its B2k weather here in FL....the air temps are in the 50s and not a cloud in the sky. Ahh remembering the power when that ice cold air hits the intercoolers..... :D :D :D

Just got in from shoveling about two feet here... dug the hot tub out and I'll be in there sipping a beer very shortly. I hate snow but I guess you've just got to make the best of it! Spring is only five weeks away. :beer

12" here. Amazing 2 weeks ago , I was washing my car outside. Overall , we've had a very mild winter.

Kevin, I was wondering how much of the white stuff you got :crazy

Big John sent me some pics of his place under snow in CT. Looks like from the middle part of VA, right up the east coast got hammered :eek

Enjoy your well deserved break! :m

18"+

Measured about 18" last night. Can't wait to put the cleated snow tires and the chains on the new Z06. Gotta see how that traction control works.

PINK AVATAR

KINGMAN:
You are correct to interpert the color of my avatar. However, the actual color is "PASSION PINK". Available only to a select few of a special select clientele of Chevrolet Corvette owners.

Do you have anymore pictures of the pink Corvette? It's really interesting. I've never seen one before.

Is this some sort of Mary Kay special edition?
