I'M LOOKING FOR A CLARIFICATION IF ONE IS NEEDED. I WAS JUST READING AN ARTICLE IN ONE OF MY CAR MAGAZINES AND THE COMMENT WAS MADE THAT YOU HAVE TO USE A DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE TO SET THE ROCKERS ON A SOLID ROLLER CAM THAN ON A SOLID LIFTER CAM. OF COURSE THEY NEVER SAID WHY OR HOW. IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS TECHNIQUE COULD YOU PLEASE SHARE IT SINCE I HAVE A SOLID ROLLER AND HAVE BEEN SETTING IT LIKE A REGULAR SOLID CAM.

THANKS ED

The adjustment technique is the same, roller lifter or flat tappet - makes no difference. The only difference is the actual lash clearance for the specific cam being used, which is on the cam card, specified by the cam manufacturer.

Turn off your Caps Lock key. :)

Thanks JohnZ, I didn't think that there could be a different technique but I thought I had better ask.
Caps off for now. ;LOL
