I have a 79 vette. ive got some heads on it and some other top end stuff but the pistons are stock. i think the compression is around 9.4 and i was wondering what the spark plug gapping would be???

Personally, I would just go with the stock 1979 gap.

someone here may know better.

Good Luck!

i went with 0.032. assuming the gap would grow with time. sadly the spark plugs i dont think were the problem with my car. i think a few of the lobes on my cam have been ground off.

That would be a Good guess!!Allot of Small Blocks do that with age!!:upthumbs

yeah i took the valve covers off and on the passenger side 3 of the rocker arms were barely moving. i could take the rocker arms all the way off with the motor running and there was no change in how the motor ran. i dont even know how the motor was still running.
