Hi Everyone,
I have recently replaced the stock plugs and wires in my '86 4+3, and I am concerned about the heat to which the new wires are subjected. The stock wires had a black plastic insulation in spots, but for the most part, I was unable to tranfser this insulation to the new wires.
My questions: Should I worry about the high heat given off for the wires when they are close to the engine body? If so, can anyone recommmend a good type of insulation?
Thanks,
Keith
