What hell was gm thinking when they put the ac unit in the way of changing plugs. The #2 plug is a bi@ch. The next time I change them the motor will be out.

Try to access it from the inner fenderwell. It's a little easier that way. ;)

I don't think they wanted us to work on the cars!:L:L:L

It's worth the 200 that they wanted to do a tune up for them just to change that #2 plug. haha I got it fine after ken said remove the inner fender sheild. You know the enginee's was laughing at all of us after they designed this car.

Just wait till you see an opti-spark...

His 90 doesn't have one. L98 with HEI dist. But you are absolutely correct that the OPTI's are a real Pain in the nether section. ;)

I think you guys are way over-reacting. Spark plug changes aren't that bad. Yes, it is a little inconvient, but not that bad really. You want bad? Try it with a 69 or 70 Mach 1 with a 351 Clevland or 429. One on each side were impossible without lifing the engine up about 6 inches or cutting part of the fenderwell out.

Removing the inner fender well is the key to also changing out the windshield washer bottle and pump----there's a bolt on the bottle which is impossible to remove, otherwise. Luckily, it was easy to unbolt and move the fenderwell out of the way.
