Hi. I'm thinking about installing a Pioneer 2 din navigation unit in my 1993. The problem is that they requier a speed input to calculate position if you loose GPS signal in a tunnel. Is there a output on a 1993 for this or do i have to put an aditional unit for this purpose on the car (i know Blaupunkt produce a system for this purpose).

Anyone have an idea or even better installed a unit like pioneer 2 din in their vette.

Have a nice day.

Steve

my 1995 Delco Bose Gold series has an input from the speed sensor on the PCM.

Would that work ? ;shrug

What type of stereo do you have in it now ?

Hi.
I have a aftermarked JVC stereo in the car. The old Bose gave in a long time ago. This is a din size radio and i'm not happy with the look. Do you have any information regarding the colour of that leed or a diagtam to supply me with. If it is already there i save myself for a lot of work.

Thanks.

Steve

I will look and post in about 4 or 5 hours. I'm at work now. Please keep in mind the manual I have is for a '95. I think it's the same but I'm not 100% sure. ;shrug

having download issues to this site. It could be the operator. Pm your email and I will send a picture of the page from the manual.
