My speedometer needle has started jumping (from the needle stop to 50 mph) until the car gets above 20mph. Over 20 it works fine. Almost like it's binding or hitting something at low speed. Any ideas or had this problem before? How much of a PITA is it to just wasp out the cable?

FYI - Bought a 96 LT4 to add to the collection. Picking it up in Long Island NY next Saturday. Black/Red, 14.5K original miles, one owner, all original.... GODAWFUL FAST. Pics available at http://www.villagephotos.com/pubgallery.asp?id_=51897
