Speedometer Question

I am buying this 1979 Corvette and the speedometer in digital with LED Display in red color.

When looking at Vettes on the Internet, I notice that most of these have a speedometer dial (manual speedometer).

Was the digital offered in 1979 as an option or has someone replaced the Speedometer (aftermarket).

Yes the 79 had a 140 mph analog(needle sweep) style
a digital is incorrect,someone for sure swapped that in there.
