I have a 1990 with the TPI 350 in it, my problem is under acceleration it stalls, spits, pops and basically dies out until I let off pedal. I have installed new pump, filter, complete tune up. Please can some one point me into the right direction, and I have 42 psi at the fuel rail and no pressure drop when it does it.

When you say you have 42 psi at the fuel rail, is that with the key on and the engine off?

spitting and popping

it has 42 psi with key on engine off, after started it has 40 psi when unhook FPR it goes to 48, it maintains a constant 45 psi even when it is spitting and popping

How long does it keep 42 motor off?

When you uh-hook the FPR fuel pressure regulator??? You mean the fuel pressure GAUGE. And it shouldn't go to 48. You have aftermarket fuel pump, or aftermarket (or adjustable) FPR.

Does it lope idle when warm?
