Most the money GM and all the other BIG Corporates that tried all the mumble jumble about synergy, mission statements, employee buy in, BRANDING, THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX, and all those other snappy BS management building tools just went up in smoke...

GM is REALLY protective of their logo's and sales of their stuff by clubs, individuals and after market vendors... too .. amazing absolutely amazing!!!

Maybe Marc Heitz Chevrolet should go above Chevrolet sales chief Don Johnson and straight to the President........ . . .. . ..... of GM :eyerole

GM and Chevy have their collective head up their ass on this one.

That's the kind of "we know what's best for you" BS that cost GM two thirds of its' market share. I think it's great that GM is improving the dealer experience for customers by updating facilities, but use a little common sense guys.

Well, aside from the Very Bad Decision that GM made on this - You just have to love a guy that says, "It would be like putting socks on a rooster," otfl I'm not a "country boy" and I never heard that before. I love that saying! It sure beats the common "that dog won't hunt" term which is overused IMHO!

Yep!
It's a real loss to GM and Chevrolet and GM/Chevy doesn't seem to car. The dealership is under new ownership and they'll tile over the animal track floor that is in the show room now and put up all the blue signs the GM/Chevy requires.

If GM/Chevy management changes, maybe the current owners of the old Mark Heitz store will return it to its lodge style.
