Hello to all
Am getting ready to install a new differential cover and will be installing a new spring. Any thoughts on which is best for a better ride and durability steel or fibreglass?

K9,

Personally I went with the fiberglass single spring (355 lbs cuz i'm fat ;) )

No seriously I read a few of the horror stories and I didnt want to take the chance of snapping it, so I opt'd for more bounce for the buck. We dont have the smoothest roads here.

Asks others as this is my personal preference.

Composit is the only way to go. Have two 73's, one with steel and one with composit. Much perfer the 'glass spring. Chevy has been using them on the Vette since '81 so they must be good.

tom...

Tom - Which one has the fiber spring the BB or SB?

You have a very useful set up there with two 73's, must be rough:D

Ehjoy!

Composit spring with good set of shocks is money well spent.
