Help! Squeak/Squawk/Squeal Telescopic Steering Column

My 2006 Corvette has developed noise when the telescopic steering column is adjusted/travels to the full up position.
Has anyone else had/have this problem, and what did you do to fix.

PS: How do you remove left side knee bolster on C6 Corvette's?

Hi there,

You may have to lubricate the column or the motor mechanism and gears.

As for the bolster, it simply unbolts from the bottom and the retainers pop out.
