I have tried to polish my under the hood wheel well covers and intake manifole cover. I had a c-5 emblim on the intake cover and it got scratched, and I couldn't get to the little scratches. So I took it off. Now I got more scratches. I tried to polish it today. I took a polishing pad and a drill, and used some Winall polish. Didn't help the scratches, now I have clouds too . Any help would really be appreciated.:hb

Check out Eastwood Company Les, they've got everything you'll need for finishing metal. They should have descriptive examples, such as yours, as well. ;)

Thanks Ken, I going to buy the vidio they offer. Might as well (read the directions) this time.:SLAP

believe it or not I have found that Mother's aluminum polish (paste in the round can) works pretty well on stainless steel.
I use it to polish my exhaust & mufflers regularly. Use a couple coats.
